<p>Meta is seeking a Research Scientist to join its Meta Superintelligence Labs organization, focused on making significant advances in foundational modeling. We develop voice frontier models spanning contextual ASR, TTS, speech-to-speech, and other capabilities.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience </li><li>Ph.D. and established track record of leading and/or contributing to influential research, e.g. as evidenced by high-impact publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ACL, Interspeech and ICASSP) </li><li>Experience communicating research for public audiences of peers, as well as non-technical audiences </li><li>3+ years of industry or equivalent research experience in AI research and related fields </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Direct experience in generative AI, and LLM research </li><li>Hands-on experience applying RL techniques to fine-tune large language models </li><li>Hands-on experience on speech processing (ASR, TTS, S2S, etc.) </li><li>Relevant candidates will have a track record on developing speech and audio large language models and experience with posttraining and evaluation of LLMs </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform research to advance the state of the art in speech and audio LLMs </li><li>Work with researchers and engineers in a highly collaborative environment to achieve goals and milestones </li><li>Influence the future of research in frontier modeling with detailed technical reports </li></ul> <p>About Meta</p> <p>Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
