<p>The Director of K-12 Partnerships serves as the statewide strategic leader for the LCTC System K-12 ecosystem, driving partnerships, innovation, and alignment across secondary education, post-secondary pathways, and workforce development.</p> <p>This role is designed as a high-impact leadership position responsible for strengthening collaboration with local school systems, charter organizations, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE), BESE, post-secondary institutions, and industry partners. The Director will lead the development of scalable early college opportunities, workforce-aligned pathways, and innovative education models that expand student access to high-demand careers.</p> <p>In parallel, the position is intentionally structured as a leadership pipeline to build the operational, academic, and governance foundation for a future LCTC-affiliated statewide charter school network. Over time, the role will evolve into an Executive Director position overseeing charter authorization, governance, and innovative school models aligned with Louisiana's economic priorities.</p> <p>Position will report to Executive Vice President for Education Strategy and External Relations.</p> <p>College: LCTC System</p> <p>Department: Education</p> <p>Type of Appointment: Full time - Regular</p> <p>Salary: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Leadership and Partnership Development</p> <ul> <li>Execute a statewide vision for K-12 partnerships, early college access, and workforce-aligned pathways </li><li>Expand and strengthen partnerships with LDOE, BESE, school districts, charter networks, industry leaders, and postsecondary institutions </li><li>Design and scale college and career pathway models that align with workforce needs </li><li>Imbed a strategic framework for future charter school leadership and governance </li></ul> <p>Charter Development and Governance Infrastructure</p> <ul> <li>Execute charter authorization models and governance structures </li><li>Develop readiness frameworks and implementation strategies for future charter initiatives </li><li>Advise executive leadership on innovative school models and expansion opportunities </li></ul> <p>Compliance and Accountability</p> <ul> <li>Ensure alignment with Louisiana education policies, BESE requirements, ESSA/ESEA, and dual enrollment regulations </li><li>Monitor legislative and policy developments impacting K-12 and workforce initiatives </li><li>Maintain strong reporting systems and accountability measures </li></ul> <p>Program Development and Academic Alignment</p> <ul> <li>Implement K-12 programs and initiatives </li><li>Align all efforts with LCTC priorities and statewide workforce goals </li><li>Ensure academic quality, rigor, and relevance across all pathways </li></ul> <p>Financial Strategy and Resource Development</p> <ul> <li>Support budget planning and long-term financial sustainability </li><li>Identify and secure funding through state, federal, and philanthropic sources </li><li>Contribute to grant development and strategic investment planning </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Engagement and External Relations</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a statewide ambassador, engaging educators, families, policymakers, and employers </li><li>Represent LCTC in education reform and workforce development initiatives </li><li>Build strong, trust-based relationships across sectors </li></ul> <p>Organizational Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Expand systems and structures to support future charter network expansion </li><li>Lead cross-functional collaboration across LCTC divisions </li><li>Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in K-12 education, post-secondary partnerships, charter schools, or systems-level leadership </li><li>Proven success in partnership development, strategic planning, and organizational leadership </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of Louisiana's education landscape and workforce pathways </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree or higher in education leadership, policy, or a related field </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Louisiana K-12 systems, charter schools, or BESE/LDOE engagement </li><li>Background in dual enrollment, early college, or workforce pathway programs </li><li>Experience in charter development, school turnaround, or governance innovation </li></ul> <p>Benefits: As a member of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, LCTC System has an attractive benefits package with a wide variety of benefit options.
