We partner with children, adults, and families to foster hope, build life skills, access support systems, and form meaningful relationships. We serve communities across Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling.</p> <p>Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $23.00 per hour. The pay range for this position is $20.49-$30.73 an hour (subject to change based on a variety of factors).</p> <p>As an Employment Specialist your work begins with promoting our organization and advocating for individuals with mental health, developmental and other types of disabilities in the job market. You generate leads tailored to their diverse skills and interests, ensuring inclusiveness in employment opportunities. Providing pre-employment counseling, you assist with resumes, cover letters, and job applications. By networking with local employers, you arrange and attend interviews, offering support for a smooth workforce transition. Collaborating with program staff, you ensure job matches align with individual needs and provide interventions when necessary.
