<p>Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift [2-10pm]</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for interpreting manufacturing drawings and performing quality inspections using various gages and inspection tools. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection, Gage Calibration, or as a Quality Technician. You will be expected to update inspection reports and conduct inspections, both visual and using measuring tools. Experience in electronics and circuit board manufacturing, PCBA, or electro-mechanical manufacturing is highly desired. Additionally, the role involves interpreting engineering drawings, understanding measurements, and reading drawing notes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct incoming inspections and measure parts according to blueprints. </li><li>Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. </li><li>Document non-conformities and update inspection reports. </li><li>Create and perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), if required. </li><li>Assist with PPAPs, and draft PFMEA & Control Plans, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in quality inspection and control. </li><li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. </li><li>Experience with inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, and gages. </li><li>Strong quality documentation skills. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
