The Area Operations Manager is responsible for safety, quality, team leadership and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands installed construction operations and knows how to lead teams while protecting margin.</p> <p>Why Work with Stier?</p> <ul> <li>Leadership opportunity within a growing, family-owned company </li><li>Competitive compensation package with weekly pay </li><li>Vehicle allowance </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Paid vacation and holidays </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate a team of Field Managers and Field Technicians to meet project timelines and maintain superior quality on all installations. </li><li>Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key customers, builders, and trade partners, ensuring smooth project execution and prompt resolution of any issues. </li><li>Operational Oversight: Coordinate field operations across multiple projects, ensuring that all teams are strategically aligned and workload is efficiently distributed. </li><li>Project Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure installations meet company standards, and address any challenges head-on. </li><li>Budget & Schedule Management: Oversee scheduling and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget. </li><li>Technology Integration: Use BOLT and other tools to track real-time project updates, review schedule changes, and audit the progress of your teams to ensure smooth workflow. </li><li>Safety & Compliance: Maintain Stier Supply Company's commitment to safety and enforce all safety standards on-site. </li></ul> <p>What we are looking for:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years of leadership/management experience, preferably in construction or a related field </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail </li><li>Experience with project scheduling and budget management is a plus </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox, and construction management software </li><li>Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners </li><li>Valid driver's license and a reliable insured personal vehicle for daily use </li><li>Ability to lift and transport materials (50+ lbs) on a repetitive basis </li><li>Successful completion of drug and background screenings </li></ul> <p>Training & Development:</p> <p>To set you up for success, training for this role may involve travel to markets in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.
