Apply today and be part of something bigger.</p> <p>Number of positions: 01</p> <p>Location: Corporate Office, Rosebank</p> <p>Job Type: Permanent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The purpose of the Security Dignity Harms Protection Investigation Manager is to ensure that victims of Dignity Harms receive timely, high-quality support in line with international standards. This role will lead a team of professionals in providing essential services such as investigation, reporting and presenting cases of BHV and other related Dignity Harms investigations.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement dignity harm prevention and response programs that are aligned with international best practices, standards, and organizational strategies. </li><li>Ensure victim-centered approaches in all interventions, focusing on confidentiality, safety, and empowerment of survivors. </li><li>Coordinate the delivery of a multi-sectoral response for victims, including medical, legal, psychosocial, and protection services where required. </li><li>Design training programs for staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders on dignity harm issues, survivor care, and referral systems. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure that services are meeting the needs of victims and achieving program objectives. </li><li>Supervise and mentor dignity harm staff, ensuring that they have the tools, training, and support to effectively implement dignity harm programs. </li><li>Promote a positive and supportive work environment that fosters teamwork, professional development, and adherence to ethical standards. </li><li>Provide technical oversight on dignity harm case management, ensuring that best practices are followed and that staff are equipped to provide survivor-centered care. </li><li>Advocate for policies and practices that support dignity harm victims, both at the local and national levels. </li><li>Support capacity building within partner organizations, local authorities, and communities on dignity harm prevention and response. </li><li>Raise awareness within the community about dignity harm issues, prevention strategies, and available services for victims. </li><li>Develop and implement dignity harm emergency response plans in areas prone to conflict, displacement, or other crisis situations. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Grade 12 </li><li>Degree in Social Work, Psychology Law, Public Health, or related field such as investigation of dignity related cases </li><li>Valid driver's license code B or C1 </li></ul> <p>Technical Knowledge</p> <p>5-7 years in dignity harm programming</p> <p>At least 2 years in managerial/leadership role</p> <p>Technical knowledge(experience) required for role:</p> <ul> <li>Good knowledge of applicable business communication and business reports writing </li><li>Computer literacy (MS Office) </li><li>Communications in English (spoken, written and reading) </li><li>Knowledge of security related legislation / policies / procedures / standards and Regulations </li><li>Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) </li></ul> <p>You will also need to have:</p> <ul> <li>No criminal record </li><li>Pass polygraph test </li><li>Good command of English language both written and speaking </li></ul> <p>If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness test.</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>At Valterra Platinum, you will join a team committed to excellence and impact.</p> <p>We offer:</p> <ul> <li>Meaningful work in a high-performance, values-led environment. </li><li>Market-aligned reward and recognition. </li><li>Opportunities for learning, development and progression. </li><li>A culture that respects diversity and encourages innovation. </li><li>A clear commitment to safe Operations. </li></ul> <p>Inclusion and Diversity</p> <p>Valterra Platinum is an equal opportunities employer.
