Make history with us.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Preventive Maintenance Technician/Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing scheduled maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of manufacturing equipment and systems. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing preventive maintenance tasks, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical/basic electrical systems and equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Adjustment and repair of a wide variety of electrical and electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment including ovens, conveyors, processing and packaging systems</p> </li><li> <p>Precision fitting, fabrication, mechanical trouble shooting preventative maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>HVAC Troubleshooting/repair</p> </li><li> <p>Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor</p> </li></ol> <p>Requirements:</p> <ol> <li> <p>3+ years mechanical maintenance experience with a continuous manufacturing operation</p> </li><li> <p>Extensive familiarity with the newest technical electronic systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting and metal fabrication</p> </li><li> <p>A high school education required; 2-year technical degree preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Formal training of equipment maintenance repair with experience in installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment is highly desired</p> </li></ol> <p>Must have good oral and written communication skills</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalence degree is required.</p> <p>Extensive familiarity with the newest technical electronic systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting and metal fabrication</p> <p>Work well alone and in a team environment</p> <p>Must have 2-5 years related experience in the field</p> <p>Must adhere to all GMP and Food Safety Policies and Practices</p> <p>Must be safety conscious, know and follow OSHA and other regulation procedures</p> <p>Basic PLC knowledge and electronic systems</p> <p>Equipment Used:</p> <p>Personal Protective Equipment (JSA's) Machine Tools</p> <p>Welder Power Tools</p> <p>Electrical Tools/Meters Power Hand Tools</p> <p>Hoist Small Hand Tools</p> <p>Forklift</p> <p>Work Conditions:</p> <p>1) Environment - Noise levels will be minimal to moderate and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient.</p> <p>Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
