<p>JOB TITLE: Materials Management Coordinator</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Materials Manager performs a variety of planning, procuring, and sometimes distribution of supplies, equipment and</p> <p>services for the surgical centers. Ensures necessary levels of inventory are maintained by facilities. Performs value analysis activities as necessary. Assist A/P with reconciliation of invoices. Serves as a liaison between surgery center Director and corporate Materials Manager.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Knowledge of Surgical Specialties and their prospective equipment & supply needs.</p> <p>Effective liaison between other departments in forecasting, planning and supplying their</p> <p>supply demands.</p> <p>Completes analysis of data to determine best available cost and minimal lead time.</p> <p>Product prioritization and management, keeping number of similar items to a minimum.</p> <p>Payment term negotiation, optimization and management.</p> <p>Ability to research & evaluate supplier performance in support of existing contracts.</p> <p>Handle & process item requests, changes and purchasing information in database.</p> <p>Concurrently monitors resource utilization, supplies, and expenses. Takes action</p> <p>immediately as needed.</p> <p>Manage the center staff's management of supplier's relationships and agreements.</p> <p>Knowledge of Packaging, Transport, Health & Safety regulatory guidelines and</p> <p>compliance to ensure facility compliance.</p> <p>Monitors and assists with the collection, documentation and reporting of product</p> <p>performance assessment and improvement data.</p> <p>Completes Inventory updating and Standardization.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>High School graduate or equivalent, A.S degree preferred.</p> <p>Three to four years experience in medical materials management or one to two years as</p> <p>OR materials management.</p> <p>Background in Surgical Setting considered.</p> <p>Strong supervisory and organizational skills required.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>Knowledge in all phases of material management including the ability to compose and</p> <p>administer the department budget.</p> <p>Knowledge of medical terminology.</p> <p>Ability to work well independently and perform duties under pressure.</p> <p>Strong computer skills with knowledge of excel.</p> <p>Lebanon ASC - 3/2026</p> <p>PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal</p> <p>office environment.</p> <p>ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal busy office environment with</p> <p>much computer and telephone work.</p> <p>This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities and working conditions may change as needs</p> <p>evolve.</p>
