In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed below, we seek a Reading Intervention Teacher who can assist in planning and providing individual and group instruction to students.</p> <p>Position Specific Information (if Applicable):</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Knowledge of the READ Act and ability to fulfill requirements</p> <p>? Support classroom teachers with literacy instruction and intervention across a variety of levels</p> <p>? Collaborate with literacy team to effectively implement reading instruction and intervention for students</p> <p>? Work with Tier 2/Tier 3 students to provide effective reading interventions</p> <p>? Effectively teach phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency skills</p> <p>? Effectively differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners and work alongside classroom teachers to support differentiation in the classroom</p> <p>? Administer and oversee the iReady assessment and progress monitoring across a body of evidence for students on given caseload</p> <p>? Communicate proactively with other staff, students, and parents</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>? Masters of Reading or Endorsement in Reading preferred (or equivalent experience)</p> <p>? Strong literacy training and experience in the application of best practices in early/emergent reading strategies.</p> <p>? Completion of mandatory Read Act Training</p> <p>? Proficient use of technology</p> <p>? Good diagnostic skills</p> <p>? Excellent communication skills including report writing and record keeping</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>? Passion for the arts in education.</p> <p>? Experience in charter schools</p> <p>?
