We invite you to become part of Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Regional Director of Wound Care Operations will provide oversight of the strategic growth and ensure successful performance of wound care at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, MidState Medical Center and the Bradley Campus. The Director will lead all facets of operations including managing patient demand and throughput, patient satisfaction, regulatory preparedness, quality improvement, physician satisfaction, employee satisfaction, business development and clinical integration.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for achieving established metrics and goals for the regional wound care program including Comprehensive Healing Rate, Median Days to Heal, Outlier Rate, Patient Satisfaction </li><li>Oversee operational budgeting, evaluation of capital needs and purchasing of equipment and oversight of financial performance </li><li>Support efforts to reduce variations in care, eliminate waste, improve quality and align physicians to ensure access to the highest standard of care </li><li>Create strong physician relationships that support the development and maturation of Hartford Healthcare's Wound Care Program </li><li>Engage service line leaders, quality, physicians, managed care and supply chain to plan for emerging trends in clinical protocols, technology, reimbursement, medical management and supply utilization </li><li>In partnership with Nurse Managers and Medical Directors monitor and ensure service line quality such as clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction </li><li>Responsible for the oversight and management of regional revenue cycle activities </li><li>Responsible for the rollout of all Hartford Healthcare wound care initiatives in the Central Region </li><li>In collaboration with the System Director of Wound Care, enhance the employee engagement scores to assure an excellent place of employment throughout Hartford HealthCare's wound care program </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field is required </li><li>Three plus years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting </li><li>Strong knowledge in business and operations of wound care </li><li>Relationship management and physician relations skills </li><li>Demonstrates exceptional communication and engagement skills in working within a large healthcare system </li><li>Strong teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, active-listening, and analytical skills </li><li>Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills </li><li>Strong teaching, coaching and mentoring skills </li></ul> <p>We take great care of careers.</p> <p>With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
