<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery, to improve up-time and improve efficiencies, special projects to enhance safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives that support company goals.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lube machine </li><li>Mechanical repair of equipment </li><li>Plumbing, painting, drywall repair </li><li>Math skills and problem-solving attitude </li><li>Hand/ Power tool </li><li>Continuous improvement and special project </li><li>Assists in documenting repair and PM procedures </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED </li><li>5 + years of Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment </li><li>Experience with welding and torching </li><li>5 years of experience using power tools, measuring tools, platform lifts, boom lift </li><li>5 years 120v electrical experience. </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Read, write, and speak in English. </li></ul> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Shop math required. </li></ul> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <ul> <li>Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. </li><li>Handle problems involving variables in standardized situations. </li></ul> <p>COMPUTER SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to do basic data entry. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
