<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Responsibilities include serving as a liaison between Information Technology on pharmacy system optimization projects for the pharmacy department while maintaining a focus on quality, safety and compliance.; creating education materials and providing education on outpatient and inpatient pharmacy systems; assist in facilitating the formulary review process for specialty and non-specialty medications; participating in appropriate health system and/or departmental committees relevant to practice area; and establishing safe practices for outpatient therapy handling, as well as collaborating and communicating with multidisciplinary team members involved in providing services to patients. Traveling to connect sites to assist with education or workflow optimization. Optimize EHR support to assist with pharmacy workflow and data requirements. Assist in the development and testing of pharmacy orders and workflows. There is an internal candidate being considered.</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p> <p>Proven experience in implementing and supporting pharmacy systems. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and pharmacy systems optimization. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
