<p>Job Description and Duties</p> <p>Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for the position.</p> <p>Most positions at CDCR Enterprise Information Services are eligible for telework. This position is primarily telework and may require in-person attendance when requested.</p> <p>CDCR employees are encouraged to use their existing CDCR email address on their application.</p> <p>The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process. HRTS will require new candidates to set up an account, which allows them to track their application's progress. Through their account portal, candidates will also be able to provide any additional information needed in the hiring process, including setting up interviews as needed. Please ensure you have a valid email address on your application</p> <p>This position is eligible for a hybrid telework scheduled for employees who can satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. Specific telework schedules may be discussed further during the interview process. Telework is only available to residents of California.</p> <p>Under direction, the incumbent must be familiar with SAP security and Active Directory. Desirable familiarity with SAP BASIS, SAP Fiori Portal, SAP GRC, SAP Business Warehouse, Cloud services and SAP Application modules: Human Resource (HR); Supply Chain Management (SCM); and Financials & Controls (FICO). The incumbent will perform at the expert level and have a thorough grasp of SAP infrastructure, governance, maintenance, and operations. Additionally, the incumbent should be knowledgeable of the physical and virtual infrastructure that supports SAP operations. The incumbent must have extensive knowledge of information technology (IT) concepts, practices, methods and principles. In addition, the incumbent must possess a strong background in facilitation, governance, and project management processes and disciplines. The incumbent will apply this knowledge to IT projects and initiatives as well as impart this knowledge to EIS managers and team members. The incumbent will be expected to have knowledge of the Department's mission and business function in order to take into account the larger business perspective.
