<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>As a Plumbing Engineer at Strang, you'll work alongside a collaborative team of design professionals on complex, high-impact projects across diverse sectors. You'll lead the design and integration of plumbing and fire protection systems from concept through construction, while expanding your project management skills, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to a design synchronized culture.</p> <p>This position is based out of one of our Wisconsin offices with flexible remote work options to support work-life balance and individual well-being.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with integrated design teams to develop tailored plumbing and fire protection solutions. </li><li>Lead system planning, design, and coordination from early concepts through construction documents and administration. </li><li>Perform all necessary calculations to ensure system functionality and code compliance. </li><li>Select and specify all appropriate materials and equipment. </li><li>Submit documentation to appropriate regulatory agencies for review and approval. </li><li>Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and develop punchlists. </li><li>Maintain and update drawings throughout construction to reflect design changes. </li><li>Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates to support early-phase decisions. </li><li>Develop detailed documentation, including plans, specifications, schedules, and reports. </li><li>Ensure systems comply with applicable codes, standards, and sustainable design practices. </li><li>Perform quality reviews and support construction administration. </li><li>Mentor junior engineers with respect, and loyalty. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Passion for your craft and pride in delivering meaningful work. </li><li>A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary teamwork. </li><li>Commitment to ongoing learning and knowledge-sharing. </li><li>Professional degree in engineering or a related field. </li><li>8+ years of plumbing and fire protection design experience. </li><li>P.E. license preferred (or strong interest in pursuing licensure). </li><li>Strong understanding of plumbing codes and systems integration. </li><li>Proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, and sizing/design software. </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for coordination and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Why Strang?</p> <p>At Strang, we believe great work starts with a great culture.
