Join our committed team and help shape the future we envision.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <p>The Manager of Facilities Management is a subject-matter expert related to the complex building systems, equipment and emergency procedures in place to support the Center. This position will represent the department for a variety of internal customers, regulatory agencies, and external vendors with responsibility for planning, budgeting, coordinating and auditing work completed by facilities staff and vendors.</p> <p>The Ideal Candidate</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with AHCA, Joint Commission, Life Safety Codes and other Authorities having jurisdiction. Strong team </li><li>Building and leadership skills. Ability to use considerable initiative, think independently, and exercise sound judgment. </li><li>Ability to process complex data to inform decision-making. </li><li>Understanding of the Facility Guidelines Institute "FGI" 2014 edition. </li><li>Understanding of Florida Administrative Code Chapter 59A-3 Hospital Licensure </li><li>Understanding of the National Fire Protection Association - NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 Health Care </li><li>Facilities Code </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, with above average ability in Excel </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Test and Balance experience preferred.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Resolving conflicts and gaining cooperation among competing interest groups. </li><li>Recruits, selects, trains, supervises and evaluates staff. </li><li>Establishes a culture of accountability and follow through. </li><li>The Manager organizes and directs the team on fulfilling department and hospital goals, oversight of operating and </li><li>Capital budgets, and ensures facility work orders and preventative maintenance services are completed successfully. </li><li>Along with Safety Officer, ensures that all safety, life safety, and environment of care measures are adhered to. Also </li><li>Assists the Design & Construction team in a safe and timely implementation of projects. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li><li>Manages multiple complex projects, handles various tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Ability to use tact, judgment and diplomacy. - Manages facility planning/construction/design/ </li><li>Architectural professionals, both internal staff and external partners </li><li>The Manager of Facilities plans, organizes and directs the overall operation of the Facilities' division at multiple </li><li>Locations. The Manager is responsible for the compliance of regulations and standards for regulatory agencies such </li><li>As Joint Commission, OSHA, AHCA and NFPA. </li><li>Manage projects from master planning through construction into occupancy. </li><li>Displays a high degree of organizational skills, setting priorities, manages multiple demands and the ability to </li><li>Complete tasks under strict timelines. </li><li>Excellent quantitative and analytical skills </li></ul> <p>Credentials and Qualifications/ Minimum experience required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or related field required. </li><li>A minimum of ten (10) years* of experience in a Facilities Operations/Maintenance role is required. Inclusive of a minimum of eight (8) years of Hospital/Healthcare/Medical Facilities and/or Support Services experience and a minimum of five (5) years Facilities/Healthcare/Support Services supervisory or management leadership. </li><li>Experience with budget planning and forecasting required. Building controls implementation and migration experience required. </li><li>Master's Degree, in a Healthcare Administration and/or Engineering field, will be considered "in lieu of" two (2) years of the minimum ten (10) years of Facilities Operations/Maintenance required experience. </li><li>An Associates Degree, and an additional 2 years of experience in a Facilities Operations/Maintenance role will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. </li></ul> <p>Ability to work flexible hours</p> <p>Share:</p>
