The Speech-Language Pathologist is involved in assisting the supervisor in compiling reports, data, etc. The SLP is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting speech, language, voice, swallow and cognitive-communicative function for inpatient and outpatient populations.</p> <p>Speech Pathology Position Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Masters Degree required from an accredited university in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders. </li><li>Current Maryland Licensure. Licensure requires 20 CEU's per two (2) years. </li><li>CPR certification. </li><li>Holds a certificate of clinical competency in the area of Speech Language Pathology or CFY eligible. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>One (1) year clinical experience in an acute care setting, will consider exceptional CFY. </li></ul> <p>Speech Pathologist Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Per Diem position, required number of hours, varied by location </li><li>Must be willing to work in an emergency. </li></ul> <p>Speech Pathologist Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.</p> </li><li> <p>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union.</p> </li></ul> <p>Per Diem Rate: $75.00/hr</p>
