<p>West Elm is looking for a Project Manager, Site Creative and Operations to own the end-to-end coordination of everything that goes live on westelm.com. This role connects site creative, site operations, and merchandising teams to ensure that campaigns, product and collection launches, and promotional events publish on time, on brief, and without execution gaps.</p> <p>This is not a production role. You are the operational backbone that keeps cross-functional site work moving: tracking dependencies, aligning schedules, managing handoffs, and making sure nothing falls between teams on the way to a live date. You report to senior leadership and are expected to run independently, escalate early, and move decisions forward without waiting for direction.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Campaign and Seasonal Launches</p> <ul> <li> <p>Own the project timeline for all seasonal and campaign go-lives, from creative brief handoff through site publishing</p> </li><li> <p>Track all workstreams in parallel: site creative, copy, merchandising setup, QA, and ops sign-off</p> </li><li> <p>Identify cross-team dependencies early and build schedules that account for them</p> </li><li> <p>Lead launch readiness reviews; confirm all teams are aligned and deliverables are complete before go-live</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a live view of every active campaign with status, owner, and next milestone clearly documented</p> </li></ul> <p>Product and Collection Launches</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate new product and collection launches across site creative, merchandising, and site ops teams</p> </li><li> <p>Track PDP readiness, collection page builds, and merchandising setup against launch dates</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the handoff process between teams; nothing moves to the next phase without documented sign-off</p> </li><li> <p>Flag delays or gaps in product data, creative, or taxonomy that would block a clean launch</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with merchandising to ensure site experience reflects the intended assortment and hierarchy at launch</p> </li></ul> <p>Promotional Events</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage project execution for promotional moments including sales events, holidays, and tentpole campaigns</p> </li><li> <p>Align site creative, ops, and merch teams on go-live timing, rollback plans, and contingency paths</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate pre-launch QA across page types, promotional mechanics, and site placements</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all promotional content is live, accurate, and trafficked correctly at activation</p> </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Alignment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the operational point of contact between site creative, site ops, merchandising, marketing, and tech</p> </li><li> <p>Run standing syncs across teams; circulate clear, actionable notes and close open items quickly</p> </li><li> <p>Manage up and across with confidence; keep senior leadership informed without requiring them to chase status</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate blockers and risks early with context and a recommended path forward</p> </li><li> <p>Build trust with partner teams by being consistent, direct, and easy to work with</p> </li></ul> <p>Operations and Process</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain accurate project dashboards and status documentation across all active workstreams</p> </li><li> <p>Identify process gaps between teams that create rework or launch risk; drive improvements</p> </li><li> <p>Standardize launch checklists, handoff protocols, and go-live readiness criteria across project types</p> </li><li> <p>Use project management tools and AI-enabled automation to reduce manual tracking overhead</p> </li><li> <p>Build repeatable systems so launch execution improves in speed and reliability over time</p> </li></ul> <p>People Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>4-6 years of project management experience in a digital, e-commerce, or site operations environment</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-team launches involving creative, merchandising, and digital ops</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of how site publishing, content management, and merchandising workflows intersect</p> </li><li> <p>Direct, clear communicator who is comfortable in stakeholder meetings and gives leadership no surprises</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate timelines, and hit milestones consistently</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with project management platforms such as Asana, Airtable, Workfront, or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of AI tools or workflow automation; applies them to reduce friction and improve accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Experience managing or mentoring junior team members</p> </li><li> <p>Retail or e-commerce brand experience strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>BA/BS from an accredited college or university</p> </li></ul> <p>WSI will not now or in the future commence an immigration case or "sponsor" an individual for this position (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration).</p> <p>This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.</p> <p>Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.</p>
