<p>DESCRIPTION OF POSITION A person under the supervision of the Manager of Pharmacy and/or Pyxis Pharmacist Designee who focuses on the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Pyxis Medstation system. This individual also assists the Manager of Pharmacy in scheduling and evaluation of the other pharmacy technicians. QUALIFICATIONS # Professional/Educational Current pharmacy technician licensure issued by the State of Illinois (20 for Certified Tech hour CEU#s included) with biennial renewal. Current Pharmacy Technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health Career Association (EXCPT) # Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, diplomacy, and honesty. Demonstrates leadership, responsibility,#and teaching ability. Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. Possesses the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work closely with Nursing staff.
