<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Triage patients efficiently as per clinic standard operating protocols </li><li>Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment </li><li>Perform lab tests as per clinical protocols and as per medical provider orders </li><li>Update and maintain all digital client records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format </li><li>Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments </li><li>Help in the front office as needed, taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility </li><li>Administer medications as directed by a provider </li><li>Assist providers during exam and procedures </li><li>Perform x-ray positioning as directed </li><li>Assist in maintaining the medical inventory as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Must be a graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program, or Certified Medical Assistant with relevant work experience required </li><li>Pediatric experience a plus </li><li>High level of professionalism </li><li>Strong customer service skills </li><li>Experience in using electronic medical record </li></ul> <p>Rotating Schedule:</p> <p>Clinic staff will work on a three _ four rotating schedules that includes every other weekend, so you are working 7 out of 14 days; Example schedule (Week 1 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Week 2 - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday).</p> <p>Clinic Hours of Operation</p> <p>o Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.</p> <p>o Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.</p> <ul> <li>Urgent Care for Children's clinic hours subject to change based on company needs, training, etc </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Position begins at $15/hour </li><li>Opportunity to grow and learn </li></ul> <p>About Us:</p> <p>Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Urgent Care for Children began serving patients ages zero to 21 in 2017.
