Whether a planned project or an emergency response, Mersino meets challenges with expertise, equipment, and service.</p> <p>We move water.</p> <p>Location: Davison, MI</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The primary responsibility of a Corporate Service Manager is to manage, direct, train, and evaluate the daily activities of the service department, ensuring the timeliness and quality of work performed and minimizing the costs of parts and labor. The Corporate Service Manager is directly responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all equipment at the corporate service level, and for ensuring quality repairs to all equipment as well as responding to equipment failures as they occur in the field. As such, the Corporate Service Manager serves as a working team member and individual contributor to the team's overall success.</p> <p>Typical Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Directly oversee and control the workload of all shop and field service employees </li><li>Establish quality and productivity criteria, ensuring that company productivity requirements are being met </li><li>Ensure accurate completion of service orders by service team members, including accurate documentation of service orders and part numbers in the appropriate systems </li><li>Perform quality checks on serviced items to ensure proper repairs have been completed </li><li>Prepare and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule on equipment, and ensure its compliance </li><li>Maintain records of equipment purchases, repairs, maintenance, servicing, and warranties </li><li>Control, order, and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies to meet daily service requests </li><li>Oversee the accurate and timely estimation of maintenance and repair work through the appropriate tracking systems </li><li>Oversee, guide, and complete diagnosis and repairs both in the shop and in the field </li><li>Maintain and enforce company Quality/Environmental systems and procedures applicable to daily work activities of all service personnel </li><li>Maintain and enforce company safety standards for all service personnel </li><li>Ensure that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in the day-to-day activities of each and every project </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in diesel or truck service repair or a related field </li><li>5-10 years of project management and management experience in a service environment </li><li>Appropriate equipment repair certifications desired </li><li>Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects </li><li>Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals </li><li>Skills in workflow analysis and management </li></ul> <p>Specific Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>A professional demeanor </li><li>Ability to work effectively with others </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a changing environment </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements </li><li>Ability to travel </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills </li><li>Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
