<p>Summary: Position is responsible for stocking of dairy products to shelf's, displays and other areas in the store. Responsible for facing product and general product maintenance and stock rotation. Assists customers with their shopping experience and reports directly to the Dairy Manager.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Dairy Clerk activities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists customers. </li><li>Stocks and rotates product. </li><li>Answers calls for price checks. </li><li>Faces merchandise in the department. </li><li>Cuts open boxes with a box cutter </li><li>Loads carts with stock for the store floor </li><li>Operates baler. </li><li>Operates trash compactor. </li></ul> <p>Other activities:</p> <ul> <li>Climbs ladders/stair tower to reach stock. </li><li>Checks doors for security </li><li>Checks floors for cleanliness </li><li>Builds displays. </li><li>Orders merchandise </li><li>Operates lift. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements: A positive and pleasant personality, must be able to lift heavy items, have effective memory skills, good hand eye coordination. The ideal candidate for this position will have a flexible availability, be dependable and have the ability to follow directions clearly with a strong willingness to learn.</p> <p>Work environment: Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes.
