<p>Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a highly motivated summer intern to support our corporate development, strategy, and M&A activities. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on real-time business planning, market research, and strategic growth initiatives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities and Capabilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct online and database research to identify companies, market trends, and industry benchmarks</p> </li><li> <p>Perform financial analysis and compile findings into summary reports</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in drafting business plans and strategic presentations using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word</p> </li><li> <p>Help identify and profile potential acquisition targets and distribution partners in key end markets</p> </li><li> <p>Support the development of strategic growth initiatives and planning for new business segments</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to senior executives and real-world strategy execution</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in business planning, M&A pipeline research, and market analysis</p> </li><li> <p>A practical understanding of the food manufacturing and services industry</p> </li><li> <p>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical concepts</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills</p> </li><li> <p>Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a fast-paced environment</p> </li></ul>
