Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Performs routine dental prophylaxis, participates in patient education, trains dental hygiene students with minimal supervision. Be the difference.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs oral prophylaxis; remove hard and soft deposits and stains from the surfaces of teeth; polish all surfaces of teeth.</p> </li><li> <p>Applies topical fluoride to the teeth.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposes and develops radiographs.</p> </li><li> <p>Gives oral hygiene instruction and counseling.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides nutrition and dietary counseling.</p> </li><li> <p>Makes and confirms appointments.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews medical and dental health history. Takes and records blood pressure.</p> </li><li> <p>Charts dental disease.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - Associate degree in Dental Hygiene</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - No experience required.
