<p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform shift start up paperwork to ensure effective hand off from previous shift. </li><li>Maintain top and bottom stock on each machine. Replace trifoil and seal bead. </li><li>Set up and calibrate sensors; make adjustments to machine, seal and tracking of bottom stock. </li><li>Maintain ink levels in print trays; clean trays between runs as needed. Replace print plates when color change is performed. </li><li>Perform changeovers and complete associated documentation. </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance; schedule Building Services and Tool Room as needed. Empty vacuum system to prevent overfill/overflow. </li><li>Understand MP, PC, WP, STM and Interim Specifications. </li><li>Perform necessary troubleshooting; assist Operators/Leads with material handling and cleanup. </li><li>Maintain VP Plex for machine scheduling. </li><li>Initiate action to prevent nonconformances; initiate recommendations, provide solutions and verify operational improvements. </li><li>Perform all functions of a Team Operator when required. </li><li>Assist with training of new Technicians. </li><li>Maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas. </li><li>Model company values and support strategic initiatives. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned or required. </li><li>This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site). </li><li>Engage others; promote and participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Automated and semi-automated machinery and process knowledge. </li><li>Sound judgment in the execution of technical/troubleshooting issues. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Good interpersonal skills to facilitate communication at various levels and areas within the organization. </li><li>Understanding of computers and computerized controls. </li><li>Ability to learn new technologies; understand and perform continuous improvement activities. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>High School Diploma, or GED required. Technical school background desirable. </li><li>Education requirements may be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience. </li><li>Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience. Previous experience with automated and semi-automated equipment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Work involves use of manufacturing equipment or close proximity to equipment.
