If you're an experienced professional in import/export compliance and ready to step into a pivotal role with a company that values excellence, this could be the perfect next step in your logistics career.</p> <p>Pay: $90,000 - $95,000 per year</p> <p>Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)| Overtime may be required</p> <p>As a Licensed Customs Brokerage Specialist, you will oversee compliance with U.S. import/export laws and regulations, working closely with regulatory agencies like U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Department of Commerce. This is a hands-on position requiring deep expertise in customs brokerage and freight forwarding to guide international trade activities, ensure organizational compliance, and reduce legal and operational risks.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), BIS, and other trade regulations </li><li>Monitor and resolve trade compliance issues related to imports/exports </li><li>Maintain and develop import/export compliance policies and SOPs </li><li>Track legal and regulatory changes and assess their operational impact </li><li>Oversee accurate filings via the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system </li><li>Provide training and guidance on trade regulations and compliance standards </li><li>Conduct internal audits and develop corrective action plans as needed </li><li>Report violations or potential violations to appropriate authorities </li><li>Lead efforts to build a transparent, organization-wide compliance culture </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a valid Customs Broker License </li><li>Extensive experience in customs brokerage and freight forwarding </li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. and international import/export laws </li><li>Ability to develop, implement, and enforce compliance programs </li><li>Exceptional organizational and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Our partner company can provide you with the vital benefits that you deserve.
