<p>Pay Rate: Starting at $16.50</p> <p>Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a Transportation Assistant PRN who will provides transportation to and from Villa Maria and its associated sites (St. Vincent's) for parents and guardians attending meetings related to children receiving services. The work schedule is: As needed</p> <p>St. Vincent's Villa provides comprehensive residential treatment for children, ages 5-13, whose behavioral and emotional needs have not responded to community-based interventions and services.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Respects children and family rights by recognizing the dignity of each individual and maintaining the confidentiality of all client information. </li><li>Maintains the environment of care by complying with therapeutic standards, risk management policy, and procedures for maintaining client safety. </li><li>Contributes to Performance Improvement at the individual, department, and agency levels. </li><li>Accurately applies knowledge of treatment approaches appropriate to the physical and developmental age of clients served. </li><li>Understands and applies policies and procedures for infection control. </li><li>Attends all required training and in-service courses (CPR, Crisis Intervention, Emergency Procedures, Infection Control, etc.) </li><li>Uses agency vehicle to transport assigned/scheduled parents or guardians to and from meetings in a timely manner. Picks up passengers at home or work as instructed, delivers passengers to meeting site, and returns passengers to home or work after meetings. Uses company credit card to purchase gas, ensuring that tank is always one-quarter full when returned. </li><li>Maintains vehicle documentation such as mileage and gas records, condition of vehicle at pick up, etc. </li><li>Responds to pager or cell phone calls as necessary to receive updates to schedules or instructions. Initiates calls to passengers and/or staff regarding delays. </li><li>Performs related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Driving (Agency and/or personal vehicle) is required for this position. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
