Take the next step in your career with us!</p> <p>Position Specific Description</p> <p>The Power Generation Division (PGD) Technical Services Specialist (Renewable Energy Technical Trainer) will be based out of our Renewable Training Center (RTC) in Urbandale, IA. This individual will support the continued development and implementation of the Power Generation Renewables training program. The successful candidate will contribute as a wind and solar trainer to all renewable technicians through classroom, remote and hands on. The position will support the business unit goal of an injury free workplace by providing safety training.</p> <p>Preferred qualifications (highly recommended):</p> <ul> <li>Previous renewable training experience and or advanced renewable technician experience </li><li>Strong understanding of PGD processes as well as PGD Wind, Solar, and Renewable training programs </li><li>Experience with Vestas V47/V80/V90 platforms preferred </li><li>Innovative and willing to adapt new techniques and methods to support a growing fleet </li><li>Primary work location will be at the Renewable Training Center (RTC) in Urbandale, IA </li><li>Individual may be required to travel within US & Canada </li><li>Possess an expert level of knowledge and skills for all facets of operation and troubleshooting abilities of PGD technologies </li><li>Individuals understand the mechanics, including both electrical and maintenance of hydraulics, of all wind turbine and solar components </li><li>Understands schematics and uses appropriate diagnostic tools </li><li>Ability to work up tower </li><li>Ability to perform as an instructor in group and individual settings and must have the ability to develop and deliver training material </li></ul> <p>Job Overview</p>
