Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair</p> </li><li> <p>Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift</p> </li><li> <p>Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies</p> </li><li> <p>Coach, counsel, and provide corrective action to housekeeping associates on performance not meeting expectations and discrepancies found in rooms</p> </li><li> <p>Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Interviews, hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports</p> </li><li> <p>Perform property walk and report identified deficiencies</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in scheduling employees to business demands and tracking employee time and attendance</p> </li><li> <p>Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met</p> </li><li> <p>Manages Housekeeping inventory, ensuring that team has dedicated tools, supplies, and resources to complete assigned tasks and work.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in QA audits</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Branded hotel experience (i.e Hilton, Marriott, IHG etc.) </li><li>Strong Leadership skills </li><li>Excellent time management skills </li><li>HMS and/or experience using labor management system </li><li>Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred </li><li>Minimum of three (2) years in housekeeping management position </li><li>Bi-Lingual fluency a plus </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Basic math skills </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing </li><li>Strong leadership skills </li><li>Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members </li><li>Excellent time management skills </li><li>The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
