<p>Primary Purpose:</p> <p>Process and close all consumer loans and lines of credit to include home equity lines, and input HMDA data. Knowledge of consumer lending regulations and compliance.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Process and close loans as assigned, HELOC, auto, brokerage secured and boat loans. </li><li>Maintain and manage loan processing queue daily </li><li>Provide excellent service to our members and loan administration personnel in the field </li></ul> <p>Processing Loans:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare loan documents within regulatory timeframes </li><li>Adheres to Service Level Agreements </li><li>Prepares CIT documentation for HELOC, auto, brokerage and boat loans with assistance </li><li>Input HMDA data and understands HMDA regulations </li><li>Handles exceptions in a timely manner with assistance </li><li>Input loans into the Loan Documentation System </li><li>Prepare attorney's instructions </li><li>Prepare loan proceeds checks/wire transfers/general ledger entries </li><li>Review final loan documentation after closing </li><li>Correct any collateral exceptions in a timely manner </li><li>Collaborate with team members outside of department to ensure smooth closing process for members </li><li>Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work independently </li><li>Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) </li><li>Professional telephone skills </li><li>Ability to work under time constraints </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Experience in consumer loan area of banking to include loan documentation and regulations, specifically real estate secured </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills & Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of loan documentation </li><li>Knowledge of loan origination system </li><li>Experience with Real Estate closings </li><li>Strong technology skills (Power BI, intermediate or above Excel skills) </li><li>Knowledge of consumer loan regulations </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally. </li><li>Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time. </li><li>Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation. </li><li>Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. </li><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
