<p>Description SAL2</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, compliance, financial performance, and culture of an Assisted Living and Memory Care community in accordance with State and community-based care regulations.</p> <p>This role ensures exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, team engagement, census growth, and operational excellence while fostering a compassionate, resident-centered environment.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure documentation standards support resident care and regulatory requirements </li><li>Maintain required policies, quality assurance, and risk management processes </li><li>Recruit, hire, and retain qualified team members </li><li>Provide leadership and accountability to department managers </li><li>Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and service excellence </li><li>Ensure staff training meets state requirements, including dementia care training </li><li>Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching </li><li>Develop and manage operating budget </li><li>Monitor expenses, revenue, labor management, and census </li><li>Drive occupancy growth through collaboration with sales and marketing </li><li>Ensure appropriate staffing levels aligned with resident acuity </li><li>Ensure compliance with state Memory Care endorsement standards </li><li>Maintain person-centered dementia care programming </li><li>Support family engagement and communication </li><li>Ensure appropriate behavioral health supports and interventions </li><li>Foster a safe, welcoming, and service-oriented environment </li><li>Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally </li><li>Support quality-of-life initiatives and resident engagement programs </li><li>Oversee daily operations of Assisted Living and Memory Care </li><li>Monitor quality indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives </li><li>Maintain informing physician and pharmacy relationships </li><li>Ensure emergency preparedness and safety protocols are current </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure documentation standards support resident care and regulatory requirements </li><li>Must hold current state Residential Care Facility Administrator (RCFA) license </li><li>Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred </li><li>Minimum 2 - 3 years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Housing </li><li>Strong knowledge of State Administrative Rules for Community-Based Care </li><li>Demonstrated financial management experience </li><li>Proven ability to lead teams and drive occupancy </li><li>Strong regulatory and survey readiness knowledge </li><li>Leadership and team-building expertise </li><li>Budget management and labor oversight skills </li></ul> <p>EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:</p> <p>Benefits of being a Sapphire Health Services employee include, but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>PTO </li><li>401(K) </li><li>Medical/Health Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Birthday/Holiday Pay </li><li>Wellness Fund </li><li>Uniform Fund </li><li>Longevity Bonuses </li><li>Quarterly Vacation Drawing </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li></ul> <p>HOW TO APPLY:</p> <p>At Sapphire Health Services we are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both our residents and our team members.
