As our versatile Facilites Technician, you'll be the hero who repairs, maintains, and installs electrical, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration systems, and more-all while ensuring everything meets top-notch safety standards and building codes. The pay range for this position will be $22.00 - 26.00 per hour.</p> <p>Why you will love Jordan's Furniture:</p> <ul> <li>Great Benefits - medical, dental, vision and more! </li><li>Weekly Pay </li><li>Unique Culture </li><li>Employee Discount </li></ul> <p>Why you will love this job:</p> <ul> <li>Team atmosphere - We're all family here! </li><li>Fast paced physical environment </li><li>Stable work environment </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities we trust you to perform:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains and repairs a variety of equipment and systems such as furniture lifts, plumbing, entertainment venues, energy management, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, as well as daily operations </li><li>Troubleshoots and performs routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of facility systems and equipment (e.g. water, power distribution, exhaust, fire alarms, emergency procedures, gas and electrical distribution, fans, motors, blowers, pumps and sprinklers) </li><li>Performs a daily walk-through of the facility with designated lists </li><li>Assists with facilities projects as necessary (e.g. location of facility systems, zones, water & power distribution, and pick up, store or distribute stock) </li><li>Updates computerized ticketing system with status of work completed </li><li>Operates and repairs equipment such as forklifts, maintenance vehicles, and tow motors </li><li>Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards and Jordan's safety protocols </li><li>Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What you bring to the table:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years experience in related work. </li><li>Requires working knowledge of the operation of all company equipment and pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, carpentry, and electrical systems </li><li>Ability to update computerized ticketing system </li><li>Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English </li><li>Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to be able to drive to other locations to performwork duties </li><li>May be required to successfully fulfill D.O.T certification </li></ul> <p>Happy, healthy employees are our goal, and our benefits help J-Team members balance physical, financial, professional, social and emotional well-being.
