<p>POSITION</p> <p>OBJECTIVE:</p> <p>Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, instrumentation, and PLC of individual machinery or equipment as well as multiple equipment systems.</p> <p>KEY RESULT AREAS:</p> <p>PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:</p> <p>Operations</p> <ul> <li>Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed equipment and associated instruments and controls. </li><li>Connect power supply wires to equipment and connect wiring from equipment to equipment or from equipment to instruments or controllers. </li><li>Research controls and instrumentation devices available to industry that provide the best solution to process needs. </li><li>Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, drives, starters, and process instruments. </li><li>Replace/repair/calibrate faulty electrical and instrumentation components such as relays, switches, contactors, solenoids, photo eyes, flow meters, level and pressure indicators / transmitters, RTD's, etc. </li><li>Repair/replace faulty electronic components such as PCB's. </li><li>Troubleshoot PLC/DCS systems and associated apparatus by programming or editing programs and control loops. </li><li>Write PLC/DCS programs for new equipment or alterations of existing equipment. </li><li>Troubleshoot all aspects of 480V 3-phase electrical systems with or without schematics. </li><li>Troubleshoot, align and repair 4-20mA circuits </li><li>Read and troubleshoot using technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and PLC logic / DCS language. </li><li>Troubleshoot valve and pumping controls. </li><li>Set-up wiring for new valves to be put in service. </li><li>Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. </li></ul> <p>Planning • Responsible for or assists in the planning layout of wiring installs, conduit runs, and electrical apparatus within plant operations.</p> <p>Human Resources • Comply with HR policies and procedures.</p> <ul> <li>Comply with all relevant employment laws. </li></ul> <p>Packaging • Knowledge of packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.</p> <p>Safety & Environmental • Knowledgeable of safe work practices including hot work and confined space permiting and LOTO.</p> <ul> <li>Comply with all environmental plant policies and state and local regulations. </li></ul> <p>Other • Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Core Values Continuously exhibit and set the example for others in display of Company values: Customer Centric, Ambitious, Proactive, Innovative, Collaborative and Accountable.</p>
