<p>Men's Soccer Assistant Coach</p> <ul> <li>University of Valley Forge </li><li>University of Valley Forge Careers </li><li>Men's Soccer Assistant Coach </li></ul> <p>Men's Soccer Assistant Coach</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Duties will include assisting in managing all aspects of the sport program, including coaching, budgeting, and recruiting, while fully supporting the athletic department's philosophy of training student-athletes to be Christ-centered leaders through the platform of athletics.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Assist the Head Coach with duties as assigned by the Head Coach.</p> <ul> <li>Recruiting </li><li>Training session planning and supervising </li><li>Assist with fundraising support </li></ul> <p>Spiritual Requirements</p> <p>All employees must be openly committed followers of Christ and sign the UVF Community Covenant.</p> <p>Qualifications and Abilities</p> <p>Personal Qualities - The ability to identify personal strengths, weaknesses, skills, and limitations, and to use this understanding profitably.</p> <ul> <li>The desire to grow, develop, and mature, both spiritually and professionally. </li><li>The ability to create and maintain a Christian professional atmosphere in all internal and external relationships. </li><li>A spirit of cooperation and willingness to serve as a team. </li><li>A professional appearance. </li></ul> <p>Spiritual Abilities - Evidence of a desire to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ.</p> <ul> <li>An identifiable salvation experience. </li><li>A pattern of spiritual development characterized by prayer, Bible study, and regular attendance at a local church or involvement in church ministry. </li><li>A commitment to ministry and encouragement of others toward the same. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a Health Services-related field and a master's degree preferred </li><li>Highly organized, motivated and energetic. </li><li>Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and commitment to the mission of the institution, to equity, and to diversity. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree or related job experience of 1-2 years preferred.</p> <p>The University</p> <p>The University of Valley Forge (UVF) is an accredited Christian university of the Arts, Sciences, and Professions located on a beautiful 100+ acre campus in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
