Starting rate is $28.25</p> <p>The Saw Operator position is wanted for Machining Department, primary job function are operating automated and manual sawing equipment to cut metal bar, tube, angle iron , bar stock..</p> <p>The following statements describe the daily duties required for this position:</p> <ul> <li>Saw Operator will Cut various raw stock to specified length per Engineering manufacturing drawings, Blue prints and sketches as required. </li><li>The equipment consists of automated and manual, vertical and horizonal metal cutting saws. </li><li>Qualified candidate must be able to use measuring tools such as, tape measures, measuring scales and mark materials with scribes to cuts part to size. </li><li>Saw Operator is required to move raw material in and out of the machine with overhead crane, </li><li>Responsible for identifying materials with color coding, marking or shape and replaces identification marking on drop materials. </li><li>Responsible for performance of duties and for good housekeeping in immediate work area. Checks maintains oil levels, cutting oils and coolants on a daily basis to provide continuous operation of the equipment. </li></ul> <p>To qualify the candidate must have a High School Degree or equivalent. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a Machine Shop setting. An understanding of metal cutting saws both vertical and horizontal.</p>
