Take the next step in your career and join a winning team!</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Shop Helper will perform various shop duties assisting mechanics in repairs, cleaning, receiving/ shipping, washing of equipment and other similar tasks.</p> <p>Essential Functions of the Job</p> <ul> <li>Conduct minor repairs and servicing to equipment as directed by the Service Manager </li><li>Follow procedures outlined in the work orders and policy handbook </li><li>Maintain a clean and respectable facility, shop equipment, work environment, and parking areas </li><li>Assist Heavy Equipment Mechanic as needed </li><li>Pick up and deliver parts as needed </li><li>Wear company-supplied uniform when conducting company business </li><li>Maintain and organize shop and storage areas - ensuring proper storage of flammable items </li><li>Operate all company-owned equipment and vehicles in a safe, lawful, and respectful manner </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA's)</p> <ul> <li>Must be organized and possess the ability to multi-task </li><li>Must be self-motivated showing complete accountability, timely in all assignments </li><li>Must possess the ability and willingness to learn and possibly advance to Heavy Truck Mechanic </li><li>Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>Relocation not available for this position.</p> <p>EOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled | Drug-Free Workplace</p> <p>We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
