<p>Production Technician</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt</p> <p>Shift: Monday to Friday - 5:45am to 2:30 pm</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $17/hr</p> <p>Location: Simsbury, CT</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the packaging and labeling of the finished goods at our cultivation and manufacturing centers. You will be responsible for the production of a variety of finished products including packaged, dried flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges and vape pens, and infused products. Our production team is expected to maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality products and will carry out day-to-day tasks including prepping, packaging, and labeling per standard operating procedures set by Curaleaf and our production management.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Stage product and packaging supplies across various production lines to meet daily production schedule </li><li>Perform quality assurance protocols as designated by Curaleaf's procedures </li><li>Increase operational efficiency and reduce waste through ownership, teamwork, communication and collaboration </li><li>Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance, testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed Curaleaf's specifications and patient's expectations </li><li>Ensure 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking and security throughout the entire packaging process </li><li>Operate in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, Curaleaf SOP's and all applicable required procedures </li><li>Ensure each product is properly labeled in compliance with state regulations </li><li>Work in a quick and efficient manner and strive to consistently increase productivity </li><li>Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the extraction room while performing all duties </li></ul> <p>What You Will Bring:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum </li><li>Effective communication skills working in a team-based environment </li><li>Strong attention to detail skills working in a high-volume production environment </li><li>Strong work ethic and the ability to be punctual, reliable, and contribute to a positive, professional work environment </li><li>Ability to be trained on various production equipment, SOPs, and consistently meet performance expectations set by leadership </li><li>Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time </li></ul> <p>Even Better If:</p> <ul> <li>You have one year of manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality is strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Allergen warnings, potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens. </li><li>Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol. </li><li>Daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary. </li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces </li><li>Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms. </li><li>Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels. </li><li>High-stress tolerance, adaptable, flexible ability to work in an ever-changing environment </li></ul>
