<p>Why do we need you ?</p> <p>Are you passionate about producing amazing products that support the aviation industry. We're seeking motivated Machine Operators to help us deliver quality products in a safe, collaborative environment.</p> <p>This position is 12-hour shift nights that has a rotating shift pattern. The two-week period would be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, then Thursday. The pattern would then start over again for the next two weeks.</p> <p>The machine operator will be running equipment to produce ceramic ingots.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to make in-process adjustments based on information (rate, distance, diameter.) </li><li>Must be able to operate lathe or spray dry machinery </li><li>Load material into the machine and set up to run. Then monitor completion. </li><li>Mainly work independently, but transfer from machine to machine for weights and chemistries. </li><li>Run the assigned machine per specified instructions for each ingot type. </li><li>Accurately and completely fill out paperwork as needed. </li><li>Perform pre-shift preparation and ensure that all surfaces that will contact product (piping/vessels) are sanitized and ready for operation. </li><li>Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed during wash-ups. </li><li>Clean and sanitize room areas as needed. </li><li>Read daily production schedule and process orders in the established sequence. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and turn in to appropriate personnel, fill out work orders as needed. </li><li>Complete electronic and written production reporting </li></ul> <p>Is this job for you ?</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Computer skills for production data entry, required </li><li>Minimum of three to five years of experience with mixing/blending/pressing operations, preferred. </li><li>A solid understanding in the use of personal protective equipment in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Attention to detail that includes excellent manual dexterity, patience, and problem-solving skills needed to produce contamination-free products. </li><li>Familiar with specialized equipment such as spray dryers or lathes. </li></ul> <p>A team ready to welcome you</p> <p>At Saint-Gobain, our employees have pride in belonging to an organization whose culture is made up of the core values; Trust, Empowerment, & Collaboration.
