<p>Description</p> <p>You're made ready to continue a fulfilling career with exciting new challenges and opportunities to stretch yourself.</p> <p>In the role of the Finance Senior Manager, you will supervise a team and play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of the business through sound fundamental practices. You will be responsible for a specific business unit, division or product covering all areas of financial and management reporting, planning and analysis. In this role, you'll experience new things, create new opportunities, think beyond your role and make an impact. To support your team, you will develop talent, drive strategic business initiatives, and review financial forecasts, variance reports, and industry drivers as part of the planning process. You will serve as a strategic business partner for leaders, leading strategic initiatives and supporting cross functional teams with high visibility and impact. Ideally, you are fully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process and can provide assistance on complex business issues.</p> <p>More importantly, while in this role you'll feel valued for who you are and supported to achieve what's important to you, personally and professionally!</p> <p>Primary responsibilities include</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including analysis of key assumptions and related financial implications. </li><li>Supports the business by providing financial reporting and analysis to influence business management and advises on accounting issues and the financial implications of business trends. </li><li>Ensures business leadership is focusing on the most important financial outcomes and that plans are aligned with business unit and franchise strategies. </li><li>Ensures the sound financial management and well controlled processes, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet reporting, and reconciliations as appropriate. </li><li>Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability of the credit card portfolio. </li><li>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the credit card division. </li><li>Manage and monitor credit card financial performance metrics and KPIs. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives and support business growth. </li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis </li><li>Analyze financial data, maintain, and create financial models to monitor and forecast Credit Card balances, net interest income and noninterest income. </li><li>Examine industry trends and potential impacts from the interest rate environment, macroeconomic factors, and internal business changes </li><li>Evaluate past results, perform variance/attribution analyses, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements </li><li>Present and discuss actuals and forecasts with business unit leaders </li><li>Support ad hoc analysis and business plans to justify and promote growth initiatives </li><li>Providing tactical balance sheet support for the division: </li><li>Manage and enhance the budget, forecast, and strategic plan process for Credit Card balance sheet and net interest income activity </li><li>Manage the balance sheet monthly close process, including estimation and communication of preliminary results </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance. Prefer Credit Card or Consumer Lending experience </li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling </li><li>Proven track record of strategic thinking and problem-solving </li><li>Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal colleagues and partners </li><li>Demonstrated ability to think deeply and understand the big picture </li><li>Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, professional environment. Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities needing to be accomplished, work independently, and organize resources in order to achieve desired results </li><li>Strong financial analysis foundation creating projections and models </li><li>Detail oriented, diligent, with strong organizational and analytical skills </li><li>Understanding current events and issues in banking, especially the economic and interest rate environment. </li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills </li><li>Proficiency with financial databases such as Oracle Hyperion Essbase/Smart View </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials</p> <ul> <li> <p>Required Qualifications</p> </li><li> <p>Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or related field required</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree or other financial certifications preferred (MBA, CFA, CPA)</p> </li></ul> <p>Hours & Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Hours per Week: 40 hours </li><li>Work Schedule: Monday through Friday </li></ul> <p>Some job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
