As a leading children's health system experiencing steady growth, we're excited to expand our team with exceptional team members who share our vision of transforming children's health and well-being as one team.</p> <p>The rehabilitation aide performs a variety of routine tasks and duties under the direction and supervision of the clinical managers and therapists. The aide works to facilitate safe and effective treatment by providing physical assistance for patient treatment, setting up for patient treatment, department support, environmental cleaning, monitoring therapy supplies and various administrative duties as assigned. Rehabilitation aides do not carry out clinical procedures. This position reports to the appropriate member of the Rehab clinical managerial team.</p> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</p> <p>High School Diploma, GED, or a higher level of education that would require the completion of high school, is required. Previous patient interaction experience preferred</p> <p>LICENSE and/or CERTIFICATION REQUIRED</p> <p>None</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE OF:</p> <p>Infection control procedures, universal precautions, basic medical terminology</p> <p>SKILLS:</p> <p>Good verbal communication, listening, teamwork, organization, critical thinking. Flexibility, interpersonal skills, and physical stamina</p> <p>ABILITY TO:</p> <p>Work well under time constraints, travel to different locations as needed</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Lifting 60 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>Busy outpatient and inpatient medical rehabilitation offices. May need to travel to different treatment location as need arises.</p>
