<p>Role</p> <p>We're looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue/AR team and play a key role in ensuring our billing, revenue recognition, and collections processes run smoothly across multiple entities. Reporting directly to the Revenue Accounting Manager, you'll be hands-on with ASC 606 revenue recognition, AR operations, and deferred revenue schedules, while also supporting our broader accounting team on system implementations and cross-functional projects.</p> <p>This role is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact as we scale. Learn more at smarterdx.com/careers.</p> <p>This role is fully remote within the US</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Oversee core revenue processes in line with ASC 606, including revenue schedules, account reconciliations, and contract review. </li><li>Support Accounts Receivable operations: invoicing, data validation, collections, payment application, and customer communications. </li><li>Maintain deferred revenue schedules and prepare journal entries for month-end close. </li><li>Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure accurate contract setup and smooth customer onboarding. </li><li>Monitor AR aging, highlight risks, and suggest improvements to strengthen collections. </li><li>Support process alignment across entities (SmarterDX, Thoughtful AI, and Access) to ensure consistency in revenue and AR practices. </li><li>Assist with system and tool maintenance post-implementation for billing and revenue software. </li><li>Contribute to tax filings, audit support, and other compliance-related activities. </li><li>Provide month-end close support and ad hoc reporting for leadership and cross-functional teams. </li><li>Track new customers, go-lives, and churn to keep revenue reporting accurate and up to date. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Solid experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition. </li><li>4-5+ years in Accounts Receivable expertise, including direct customer interaction by phone/email. </li><li>Hands-on experience with deferred revenue, reconciliations, and journal entries. </li><li>Ability to read, understand, and interpret customer contracts. </li><li>Comfortable partnering across teams (Sales, CS, Product, Engineering). </li><li>Strong Excel and data validation skills. </li><li>Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Nice To Haves.</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a SaaS or technology company. </li><li>Familiarity with tax compliance processes. </li><li>Prior experience with acquisitions/integration of new entities. </li></ul> <p>Our Tech Stack</p> <ul> <li>NetSuite (core accounting & revenue recognition) </li><li>Salesforce (customer and contract data) </li><li>Snowflake (data/reporting) </li><li>Excel/Google Sheets for analysis and reconciliations </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>$110k-$120k base + equity incentive</p> <p>#LI-Remote</p> <p>#LI-DNP</p>
