Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Develops and implements departmental goals, plan, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. </li><li>Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. </li><li>Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance. </li><li>Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. </li><li>Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. TCRH is considered a rural hospital that serves a large Medicare population, as well as, a total population of approximately 60,000.
