<p>Substitute Teachers and Substitute Education Support Professionals</p> <p>Grades PreK to 12 needed for daily - on-call basis to fill in for absences.</p> <p>The Weymouth Public Schools is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers and Education Support Professionals (day to day, on-call substitutes) We welcome you to apply via TalentEd.</p> <p>Requirements for Substitute Teachers:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Required for Teaching Roles (a copy of transcripts/evidence of degree must accompany application) </li><li>A college student who is in second semester junior year or higher may apply as a Teacher Substitute (with proof of credits/transcripts)* </li></ul> <p>Rate:$113.25 per day</p> <p>Requirements for Substitute Education Support Professionals:</p> <ul> <li>High School Degree or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Rate: $97.25 per day</p> <p>Substitute Resposibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Implement teacher lesson plans and administrator directives with fidelity and efficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with classroom teachers and if necessary, principal regarding expectations for student work, behavior, and lesson execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the teacher's absence does not cause an interruption in classroom instruction.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform supervisory duties as assigned (such as lunch, bus, or recess duty).</p> </li><li> <p>Abide by state statutes, school committee policies and regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain confidentiality regarding students and staff personnel information</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to be flexible with job assignments as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Assumes responsibility for other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned</p> </li></ol>
