The ideal candidate will also be responsbile for talent development and setting department functional excellence.</p> <p>Must be able to work onsite at Zebra's Holtsville, NY location 3 days a week, 2 days can be remote.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Directs and manages the activities of an electrical engineering team within the product group, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product development goals. </li><li>Contributes to the creation and execution of innovative policies and integrated business solutions to support product development initiatives. </li><li>Develops and establishes operational policies, delegates assignments effectively, and ensures accountability for cost efficiency and productivity, indirectly impacting P&L performance. </li><li>Implements programs and solutions that improve engineering processes, reduces costs and cycle time, and enhances customer service levels. </li><li>Serves as a recognized technical and organizational leader, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired results. </li><li>Applies deep knowledge of hardware electronics, product design, technology trends, and business complexities to lead the development of innovative engineering solutions within the department. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate (electrical) engineering discipline preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's +6 years' experience </li><li>Master's +4 years' experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in people management highly desirable </li><li>Experience leading Asia JDM partners </li><li>Detail oriented, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills </li><li>Experience with embedded Microprocessors, memory systems, analog circuits, schematic capture </li><li>Knowledge and experience in designing battery management systems and DC-DC power Supplies </li></ul> <p>Zebra is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify, national origin, disability and protected veteran status or any other basis prohibited by law.
