<p>We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Care Specialist in Sumterville, Florida to join our team. We are a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center located in Central Florida.</p> <p>PERKS:</p> <ul> <li>health insurance (medical, dental, vision) </li><li>FREE medical co-pays </li><li>paid time off </li><li>eight paid holidays </li><li>company paid life insurance and short term disability </li></ul> <p>Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain HIPAA with confidential approach to patient information at all times. Appointment Scheduling: </li><li>Manage patient appointment scheduling, ensuring appointments are made accurately and timely. </li><li>Confirm appointments and contact patients with reminders for appointment, minimizing no-show rates. </li><li>Reschedule appointments and handle cancellations while maintaining efficient clinic operations. </li><li>Coordinate with provide leadership and other healthcare staff to ensure proper scheduling </li><li>Answer patient inquiries regarding appointment availability, office procedures, and healthcare services. </li><li>Provide clear, empathetic, and informative communication to patients throughout the scheduling process. </li><li>Ensure all necessary patient information is collected and entered into the system prior to the appointment. </li><li>Accurately input and update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system. </li><li>Maintain and track appointment records to ensure all patient encounters are documented. </li><li>Provide a high level of service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner. </li><li>Assist with follow-up calls and appointment reminders to ensure patients attend scheduled visits. </li><li>Collaborate with the front desk and billing team to ensure proper insurance information is collected and appointments are confirmed for billing purposes. </li><li>Other job duties as appropriate and assigned by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient scheduling, office administration, or customer service. </li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology and appointment scheduling systems (EHR experience a plus). </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers. </li><li>High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software </li></ul> <p>To apply please email your resume to the reply link or fax to 855-832-3504, attention Human Resources.
