<p>A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Data Developer to join their team onsite 2-3 days a week for a hybrid role in Cincinatti, Ohio (OH). The ideal candidate will have recent experience with Spark, Scala and/or Python programming languages, as well as heavy cloud experience in AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develops strong understanding of the data sets and identifies ways to enhance its value by combining it with other data sets </li><li>Identifies meaningful insights from large data, interprets, and communicates insights from analysis and experiments </li><li>Creates workflows to pre-process data, build machine learning models, and evaluate the effectiveness of those models on large data sets </li><li>Leverages previous experience/knowledge and current data to provide insightful analytics </li><li>Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results </li><li>Uses MS Excel/PowerPoint to summarize findings and communicate effectively to the product team </li><li>May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues </li><li>Interprets and communicates insights to product, service and business management </li><li>Works with business leaders to identify and develop metrics and visualizations that will track performance and highlight potential inefficiencies </li><li>Partners with business teams to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modeling decisions </li><li>Compiles data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set, including design and implementation of data cubes </li><li>Required strong analytical acumen with the ability to uncover insights and create stories by seamlessly integrating a variety of data sources* Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business; Prior work experience in Business Analytics preferred </li><li>8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with a Master's degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience </li><li>Strong experience with advanced analytics/SQL on Snowflake environment </li><li>Excellent communication, story telling, interpretation of data using Tableau, WebFocus or Power BI </li><li>Highly knowledgeable about warehousing concepts, data security. Go getter - ownership </li><li>Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., iterative and other modern approaches to software development </li><li>Proficiency with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL, HiveQL) </li></ul>
