At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!</p> <p>THE ROLE</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take on the Command Center Dispatcher at the venue. This position exercises responsibility for the command center functions and operations. This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days reporting to the Security Department Manager of the venue. Hours per week will vary depending on show schedule and business.</p> <p>WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO</p> <ul> <li> <p>Dispatch Coordination:</p> </li><li> <p>Dispatch of appropriate departments through the use of radio systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with field personnel, providing essential information and instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Resource Allocation:</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize and allocate resources based on the nature of the incident.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate records of resource assignments and availability in dispatching software systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication:</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in ensuring proper communication between all entities. (Venue, 3rd party vendors, Public safety departments)</p> </li><li> <p>Technology Utilization:</p> </li><li> <p>Operate and utilize computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and other relevant technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and actions taken during each emergency incident.</p> </li><li> <p>Emergency Call Handling:</p> </li><li> <p>In the event of an emergency, receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from the public and other agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with venue/event personnel, law enforcement, fire departments, and other emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to emergency incidents.</p> </li><li> <p>Gather critical information to assess the nature and urgency of the situation.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING</p> <ul> <li>Experience as a command center dispatcher or in a related field. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. </li><li>Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and other relevant technologies. </li><li>Willingness to work in a fast-paced shift environment with flexible hours. </li><li>Previous experience in a live events environment desired. </li></ul> <p>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY</p> <p>We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
