<p>Kforce's client, a global and well-established, very successful financial services firm in Boston, MA known for a great culture and quality of life, is looking to hire an Investment Accounting Tax Transformation Manager to join their office. The client offers excellent benefits and growth potential. This position is scheduled as a hybrid and 3 days a week onsite with flexibility.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Overseeing the tax related aspects of investment accounting within the financial firm </li><li>Tax compliance - ensure adherence to federal, state, and international tax laws related to investment activities </li><li>Proficient knowledge of tax basis and Statutory or GAAP basis of accounting for various investment types </li><li>Prepare and review tax returns for Tax reporting related to investment income, capital gains, and other relevant tax issues </li><li>Develop tax strategies </li><li>Analyze and improve existing tax processes and workflows </li><li>Leveraging technology and automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency </li><li>Work closely with various teams, finance, legal and operations </li><li>Stay updated on tax legislation changes </li><li>Identify tax risks* Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field </li><li>6+ years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting or financial service environments </li><li>Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles </li><li>Knowledge of tax accounting software, Excel </li><li>Ability to analyze complex financial data </li><li>Experience in leading tax related projects and initiatives with a focus on process improvement and transformation </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, leadership and other department heads </li></ul>
