<p>Job Title: Electrician A</p> <p>Requisition Number: 2314</p> <p>Location: Pascagoula, MS</p> <p>General Function</p> <p>The Electrician installs and repairs wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard vessels and within the facility.</p> <p>Typical Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. </li><li>Install conduit to bulkheads using brackets and screws, then thread wires through conduit to terminals such as connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and switch panels. </li><li>Connect power-supply circuits to systems including radio, radar, sonar, fire control, and other onboard electronic equipment. </li><li>Test electrical characteristics-such as voltage, resistance, and phase angle-within circuits using meters and indicators. </li><li>Construct and install instrument panels using hand tools, rulers, dividers, and power drills according to specifications. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics is preferred. </li><li>Strong understanding of marine or industrial electrical systems and components. </li></ul> <p>Experience and Training</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience as an electrician is required. </li><li>Experience in an industrial or shipyard environment is strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Bollinger is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans and disabled individuals, and without regard to sexual orientation and gender identity.</p>
