<p>Technical Lead (Hybrid - Columbia, SC)</p> <p>We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled hands-on Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of our digital banking platform. They lead a cross-functional development team, providing technical leadership while remaining actively involved in coding, design, and problem-solving. As part of our digital banking transformation journey, the Lead works on mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability, security, and superior user experience for customers.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and mentor a team of software engineers (e.g., mobile, web, backend).</p> </li><li> <p>Enforce coding standards, security practices, and architecture principles prescribed by Enterprise Architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide hands-on development support across key projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for digital banking applications.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to align solutions with banking compliance, security, and performance benchmarks.</p> </li><li> <p>Design microservices and API-first solutions for high availability and extensibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the design and development of mobile (iOS/Android) and web-based banking platform.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively use CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure delivery of code to production.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee API strategy, including development, security (OAuth2, JWT), and governance.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage integration with core banking systems and third-party fint ech services.</p> </li><li> <p>Guide the team in developing efficient database schemas, stored procedures, and optimization techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead performance tuning, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting for production systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Security, QA, and Infrastructure teams to deliver robust banking solutions.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.</p> </li><li> <p>At least eight (8) years of experience in software development with at least two (2) years in a technical leadership role. Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services industry is desirable</p> </li><li> <p>Strong expertise in Cross Platform Mobile App Development and Web Development (e.g., .NET Core, C#, JavaScript frameworks such as React/React Native/Angular</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge of API Management (e.g., REST, OAuth, API Gateway) and microservices architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in C#, .NET Framework/Core, T-SQL, and database optimization (Stored Procedures).</p> </li><li> <p>Good understanding of Secure by Design principles.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and DevSecOps practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced skills in debugging, root cause analysis, and optimizing performance across distributed systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with OutSystems or similar low-code platforms is a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li>OutSystems Developer certification </li></ul>
