<p>Essential Duties & Job Functions:</p> <p>Responsible for effectively planning, prioritizing, organizing, controlling, reporting, evaluating, and adjusting transportation operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles. </li><li>Manage the transportation employees to ensure work is completed and consistent with the contractual standards. </li><li>Implement transportation-related procedures as well as company revenue goals and customer service objectives. </li><li>Organize repairs and routine maintenance of transportation vehicles. </li><li>Comply with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations. </li><li>Promoting safe work activities by conducting safety audits and attending company safety meetings. </li><li>Lead, supervise, hold accountable, and develop subordinate personnel. </li><li>Understand Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and Union/Management working relationships. </li><li>Develop and maintain contractually required reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, and maintenance activities. </li><li>Develop and maintain good Subcontractor/Vendor relations while ensuring their effective contract conformance. </li><li>Maintain effective communication with senior corporate staff, supervisors, employees, and customers. </li><li>Perform all assigned tasks with confidentiality. </li><li>Always present yourself in a professional manner. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in large Facility Support Services or Base Operations Support contracts within Transportation function desired; experience in Maximo or another CMMS preferred. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Transportation Operations in projects of equivalent size, scope, and complexity. </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. </li><li>Submit to and successfully pass Pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check. </li><li>United States citizen. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally. </li></ul>
